Our Purpose:

To deliver common sense, self-empowering workshops that will continue to serve and benefit law bidding citizens within our community.  With criminal activity on the rise I feel that it is important and my duty to share with others practical self defense tactics that may one day serve to save a life or escape a dangerous situation.

Decuerdas Eskrima is a highly effective, and highly realistic Martial Art  system that was taught to me by renowned martial artist Grand Master Arthur Gonzalez.  The primary purpose and motivation for this website is to share effective self defense concepts to our general law biding society so that they may become empowered to protect themselves and or their loved ones if the unfortunate need should arise. I will introduce you to GM Gonzalez conceptual way of thinking about martial art concepts. It is through these combative concepts that one can directly apply  to our modern day society.  After ten years of arduous study with GM Gonzalez I have had the fortunate pleasure to learn a variety of  weapon programs, such as, stick combat, Knife to Knife Combat, Hand to Knife Combat, Spanish blade, and Hand to Hand Combat, which encompasses Dumog, and Buno. GM Gonzalez instruction revolved upon his Six Key words (Striking, Choking, Locking, Throwing, Sweeping, and Grabbing arts).
